Workday Integrations Consultant
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead the Workday Project integration/Interface track.
- Participate in detailed design discussions, develop Technical Specifications, Build/Develop inbound and outbound integrations.
- Participate in Unit and End-to-End testing activities.
- Assist with troubleshooting and bug fixes during the implementation.
- Support all Move To Production (MTP) activities and provide post production support as needed.
- Work with Customer IS, and/or IT Organizations to properly coordinate the deployment of such integration within the customer Information Technology architecture.
- Provide Workday technology advisory services and training to our customers.
- Engage with client project managers defining client strategies and requirements, guiding clients through the implementation process, overseeing the configuration of the application according to customer requirements, developing system interface and data conversion plans.
- Work with clients to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Computer Science with 2 – 4 years of consulting experience or 8 – 10 years of relevant work experience building customized Integration is required
- Complete Understanding of the Workday Launch, or Workday Your Way Deployment methodology and Workday’s Tenant management approach is a plus
- Experience with Workday Integration Technology including but not limited to Enterprise Integration Broker (EIB), Studio, Cloud Connector, as well as Core Connector and Web Services is a must
- Experience and expertise in SOAP, and REST is a plus.
- Working knowledge and language of the following business areas: Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll or Finance
- Experience working with a major systems integrator and/or an enterprise software company
- Experience working in client facing roles
